The International Trade and Diplomacy division of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Heimburger, as its new Regional Director for Asia. Mr. Heimburger comes to the Office from Intuit Corporation where he was a Senior Manager for Corporate Development. In that position he worked closely with business unit leaders in both the U.S. and Asia to identify growth opportunities, including acquisitions and partnerships.

Fluent in Japanese, Heimburger recently spent 21/2 years in Tokyo advising Japanese senior staff regarding key projects and decision modeling. Actively involved in corporate strategy for many years Heimburger has worked in product marketing, customer retention management, and global business development.

An MBA graduate of the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University he obtained his BA from Brigham Young University in international relations.
